1/2 of the way through my Wilderness First Responder Course which is AWESOME!

Practicing an on-foot evacuation

Our instructor walked around and we had to saftly follow him without further injuring our patient that we were carrying.  He climbed up and over trees, went under that picnic table, and all over.

Practicing back-boarding

Practicing making splints with whatever materials we have with us, or can find in a wilderness setting.  This one is made with a spiral notebook, fabric, and a bunched shirt.

Pretend cuts on my wrist for one of our practice scenarios.

Pretending to put on steri-strips over our dry-erase board marker cuts. haha.  We didnt' use too many strips.
